Désormais le Maroc n’a plus le monopole de la production de l’huile d'Argan dans le monde!
En effet, après 25 ans de recherches agronomiques la société agricole israélienne SIVAN S.M à mis au point une souche dérivée de l’Arganier dénommée Argan 100. 
Cette « super » souche donne naissance à des arbres capables de s’adapter au climat méditerranéen et de produire une quantité beaucoup plus importante de noix.
En gardant à l'esprit qu'aujourd'hui il faut attendre 15 ans pour que des noix poussent sur un arganier, des noix qui donneront au final, pas plus de deux litres d’huile...

Belle initiative, mais notre chère huile d'Argan Berbère gardera t'elle réellement toutes ses propriétés? La copie à t'elle déjà détrôné l'originale? Affaire à suivre!
